An early-stage startup is looking for a CTO (60 – 100%) in job sharing.

About the company

We are building a recipe platform that values the art of cooking and compensates for the development of delicious recipes. For us, technology is key to preparing the tradition of cooking for the future. Our users do not only have access to delicious recipes but also an API that will be important in the future such as smart kitchen equipment. We are an experienced team that pays attention to details and wants to make every bit of the app as great for our users as it can be.

Your Strategic Responsibilities:

• Experience with performance and memory tuning with tools

• Build and lead an ML / AI team

Hand-on responsibilities:

• Experience in building web applications (including user interfaces with HTML and CSS) and/or android

• Development of Web Frontend

• Understanding of android’s and apple’s design principles and interface guidelines

• Familiarity with Google Firebase and RESTful APIs to connect iOS and Android applications to back-end services

• Data science and analysis

Personal qualifications:

• Experience working in a startup- and remote work environment including building remote teams

• More than 2 years of leadership experience

• Experience in agile development

• Fluent in spoken and written English

• High-quality standards of coding

Education:

• Bachelor or Master in Computer Science or similar

• Knowledge in Machine Learning is a plus
